About Shoplaa

Shoplaa is the trading name of UKS United Knack System Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We design and sell handmade leather clogs and slippers, handcrafted jewellery, cotton socks, leather bags and soft-sole baby shoes.

Where to Find Us

Our shop is at 3 Greenwich Market, London SE10 9HZ. Greenwich Market is a covered Victorian market in south-east London, and it is where our products are sold in person as well as online. If you are nearby, you are welcome to come and try a pair on — sizing is much easier in person.

How We Started

Before Shoplaa, our founder spent years working with businesses on online sales, product photography, social media and SEO. In May 2023, together with her daughter, she decided to stop advising other people's shops and open one of her own — combining that commercial experience with a younger eye for design.

What We Make

Every pair of clogs is cut, stitched and finished by hand by experienced shoemakers. We use genuine leather on the inside for breathability and laminated leather on the outside for durability, with soles in natural cork or flexible Comfortflex material. Our clogs are made for people who spend long days standing — doctors, nurses, dentists, chefs, hairdressers, hospitality and retail staff.

Our jewellery is handmade in small batches, and our baby shoes use soft, skin-friendly leather with flexible soles suitable for first steps.

How We Trade

• Free worldwide shipping on every order, with no minimum spend.
• Dispatch within 1–2 business days, with tracking sent by email.
• 30-day returns, plus statutory 14-day cancellation rights for UK and EU consumers.
• Secure checkout via Shopify's PCI-compliant payment processing with SSL encryption. We never store card details.
• If a parcel is lost in transit, we send a replacement at our own cost and handle the carrier claim ourselves.
